One to One with R.C.Deswal (General Manager) about ND. Heroes performance in DSA Senior Division League- 2008

 

Q. How was the performance of the team in the DSA Senior Division League this year?

 

R.C- Though the team played well but it was not sufficient enough to reach the top. The team has lot of caliber but couldn’t perform the way as it was expected from them and also constant injury to the key players was one of the factors.

 

 

Q. What you think was lacking in the team this year?

 

R.C- Last year in the DSA League we took everyone by surprise but this year all the other teams were very well prepared against us & also lack of concentration led us to loose some crucial points. We had resilient teams this year like Indian Nationals, Hindustan FC, Ahbab FC and Shahdra FC to name a few.

 

 

Q. Who do you think was the player of the league?

 

R.C- All the players of ND.Heroes are good. Each player specializes in his department. But I think Nirmaldeep and Marlangki managed to play very well during the whole league.

 

 

Q. Do you think DSA League’s performance will hamper the team performance in II Division NFL too?

 

R.C- No, not at all. The team is working real hard towards II Division matches. The team doesn’t let anything affect it. A few players are injured at the moment. But they will be fit and ready to give their best by then. You will see the team performing much better in II Division NFL.
